Estonia’s top hotel The Three Sisters Earns a Michelin star

The Three Sisters  restaurant, located in the luxury hotel The Three Sisters in Tallinn Old Town has qualified  for a Michelin star, and will appear in the 2010 Michelin Guide

Tõnis Siigur, who is the chef of the hotel restaurant , said that the Michelin star can be achieved only if all staff work for this purpose, starting from the owner and ending with the cleaning ladies.

Siigur stated that his high quality is maintained because he remained in the kitchen until the last customer has left the restaurant.

“This is the only way to get the star,” Tõnis Siigur the chief of the restaurant said.

Before joining The Three Sisters, Siigur won three times the Estonian Silver Spoon Award for the best restaurant and in 2007 won the Best Chef Award.

The Three Sisters, as is said on its site, is the only Baltics’ boutique hotel that is a member of the prestigious Design Hotels group.
